Whole30 Week 4 Summary

So I compiled the meal plan today and realize that I ate a lot of tomatoes this week. Sure we bought a club pack at Costco last time we were there however, our two massive tomato plants are producing like mad. It was a fun weekend to end the summer and the temperature sure has changed quickly. Paleo lunch ideas for school will continue and I only have 2 days left in my Whole30. The sweet potato apple muffins have been a hit with the little guy. I want to thank those that have left comments this week and I hope that all of the others browsing have enjoyed the content.

It's too bad summer is over, lying in the grass was a lot of fun.

Whole 30 - Week 3 Summary

21 Days Complete. My Day 31 Meal is almost in sight and to be honest I'm not terribly focused on having a treat or a 'cheat', but I am dying to make the blueberry crumble from Practical Paleo.  Highlights from the week food-wise would be the scotch eggs for breakfast and the pulled pork that we shared with our favourite lifeguards.

And non food highlights of the week; we got to pick our Magicbands for Disney and pick our Fastpasses too!  Paleo at Disney?  I'm hopeful.

Whole30 - Week 2 Summary


Another week done and just 16 days left to go. So far we've all been feeling great and sleeping very well at night. When you get out of the routine of eating Paleo for a little bit you forget how great you feel and sleep when eating well. I was happy to share our recipe for Peruvian Chicken (you must try it, it's that good) and out method for crispy baked chicken wings with our favourite hot sauce Franks. My plan this week is to make some more deviled eggs and put up the recipe along with some Scotch Eggs.

I'm happy that we haven't fallen into a paleo rut just yet although it seems like breakfasts are getting a little similar. Any suggestions for other Brekkie ideas?

Whole30 - Week 1 Summary

Week 1 is done and it's certainly easier to get back into after doing a Whole30 previously, but I do remember it being daunting my first time trying to plan out the week. I've prepped the kitchen and fridge for a successful Whole30. I've posted 5 of our favourite recipes that we use frequently and I'll keep adding more to help. During the coming week, I'm going to post recipes for Cumin-Lime Salad Dressing and Salmon Cakes.

Clearly all this meal planning is exhausting our middle child, too.
