Admittedly before we started living a paleo lifestyle and participating in many Whole30s I would load my coffee up with milk and sugar. It was sinfully delicious. With our first Whole30 I tried adding in coconut milk; big mistake. The coconut milk was so fatty that it separated and congealed.
With a 3 year old at home it was impossible for me to not survive my mornings without coffee, so I had to start drinking it black. And I've learned to love it. Even a Starbucks barista once told me 'It's so refreshing to see somebody who actually enjoys coffee!'
Of course I'm not saying that you should drink a pot of coffee a day, but caffeine certainly has its benefits and coffee is full of antioxidants! So drink up and enjoy!
